Making and Cutting of South Beach Cold Process Soap

South Beach

"South Beach" is described as "Truly Tropical.  The initial blast is all fruit:  Chunks of ripe cantaloupe and fresh juicy watermelon.  Then comes the sweetness... pure sugarcane, the kind you can buy at an open farmer's market.  Sold by the stalk, that you chew on, squishing it between your teeth and sucking the sweet juice from its stick. Then the gentle aroma of thick, meaty petals of fragrant blooming Lilies and...the ocean breeze".

I love this scent.  It's fresh and fruity and perfect for summer!

Cucumber Mint Cold Process Soap

Cucumber Mint

Cucumber mint is "a blend of fresh cucumber and freshly-cut mint leaves, complimented with floral blossoms.  It begins with top notes of garden-fresh cucumber, ripe banana, and juicy clementine; followed by middle notes of cyclamen blossoms, African violets, and Madonna lily;  sitting on base notes of palm fronds, spearmint leaves, and cool peppermint".
This really is such a nice soothing scent!  Cool, light and airy!

Making & Cutting Rosebud Cold Process Soap

Rosebud

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"... In the past I would have told you that I am not a huge floral fan but making soap has been such an eye opener for me.  I have been "forced" to try so many different scents that I may not have before and have fallen in love with them;  jasmine and green tea, daisies, gardenia and lemongrass and ROSES (OMG, the roses)!  In my opinion it is hard to capture the scent of a rose and often though the scent is nice, it is not quite there.  This scent is one of my favorite rose scents and it really is so lovely in cold process soap!    It's delicate, not too overpowering.   For all of you rose lovers out there, this may just be the one for you!

Goldie Dreadlocks

"A complex arrangement of citrus top notes, combined with fruity florals, while sitting on sweet vanilla bean and a faint woodsy patchouli base."

I just love this scent so much! Actually, slightly obsessed with it would be more accurate.  It is supposed to be a Dupe of Lush's Porridge scent.  Since I have never smelled Lush's Porridge, I can't say how it compares but this one is one of my all time favorite scents for sure.  It's hard to describe actually.  It's warm and cozy,  not perfumy or super sweet, nor is it a bakery type.  I think Natures Garden Candles describes it best when they say "it's not too fruity, not too floral, but juuust right!"

This one will be ready for purchase in my Etsy shop on March 1, 2016.  Check us out at www.begreatfulshop.etsy.com

Happy Valetines Day!

Growing up I always loved Valentines Day!  Even when I didn't have a boyfriend to share it with!  I always found it so exciting to see what special little things were going to happen on a day that's purpose was to celebrate love!  Now that I have a husband that I love like crazy and two children that I am obsessed with their awesomeness, the day seems even more special.  It's nothing big of course, just a special day, a little different than the others, when you may just think a little extra hard about how much love we have around us!  In celebration of the day, I have compiled some of my favorite couples.  All of them have put a little extra love in my heart...

"No, I don’t think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That’s what’s wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how." – Gone with the Wind

"I Love you!...I know!" -Star Wars

"There is only one gift you should accept on your first date – diamonds." -Miss Piggy

"His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad,
His hair is as dark as a blackboard.
I wish he was mine, he's really divine,
The hero who conquered the Dark Lord" -Harry Potter

"ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE" -The Beatles

Peace, Love, Loofah!

Why should you use Be Greaful's loofah soaps?  Well, besides the fact that they are super cute and unique, they smell amazing and are great for your skin!  In addition to using our quality soap, one of the best things you can do for your skin is to exfoliate.  Exfoliation is the removal of older dead skin cells that cling to the skin's outer surface.  Exfoliating your skin is an important part of face and body treatments because it helps rid your skin of dead cells and promotes the growth of new ones.  When done properly, exfoliation leaves the skin feeling smoother and fresher looking.  One of the easiest and most popular exfoliants to use is loofah.  We use Loofah in both our cold process soap and our vegetable glycerin (“melt and pour”) soap.  The thing I like best about using loofah in our soaps is that the possibilities are endless!  You can use it in many different ways;  you can use it in slices, you can grind it up, or you can use it whole.  Whole loofah can be easily shaped and molded and made into many different and unique soaps.  I have done them in peace sign, heart, flower and even Mickey Mouse shapes.  Our loofah soaps also come in countless different scents!  Some of our most popular scents are White Zinfandel, Peach Bellini, Key Lime, Orange Burst, and Mocha Frappuccino.  They are one of the most popular favor and wholesale orders that we get in our shop.  We are always happy to do special labels and packaging for favors so please contact us for pricing or if you have any questions or ideas!
